Glass Panel
Height
The correct position of the roof sliding outer glass panel (502A82) to
the roof panel (50202) is as follows:
Front Corners: Flush to 1 mm (0.039 inch) below roof panel.
Rear Corners: Flush to 1 mm (0.039 inch) above roof panel.
1. Cycle roof sliding outer glass panel from full-open to full-closed
position.
2. Remove three roof sliding panel opening shield retaining screws along
front of opening inside of vehicle and slide roof sliding panel opening
shield (50988) and roof sliding panel headlining (519A02) fully rearward
to expose six roof sliding outer glass panel retaining screws (three on
each side).
3. Loosen six roof sliding outer glass panel retaining screws. Tighten
so that they are snug but not tightened to specification.
4. To adjust only the front of roof sliding outer glass panel, loosen
the center and front screws. To adjust only the back of the roof sliding
outer glass panel, loosen the center and rear screws.
5. To check height setting, open the roof sliding outer glass panel about
101.6 mm (4.0 inches), then return to the closed position.
6. Tighten the glass retaining screws to 0.8-1.5 N-m (7-13 lb-in).
7. Slide roof sliding panel opening shield forward and replace three retaining
screws.
8. Close roof sliding panel headlining if desired.
Fore-and-Aft
1. Operate roof sliding outer glass panel to the full-open position.
2. Loosen 10 screws retaining the adjustable side rail covers.
3. Locate and use the series of hash marks at each front rail corner.
Adjust roof sliding outer glass panel fore-or-aft as required, making
sure both sides are uniform to hash marks.
4. CAUTION: Hand-tighten all screws. Do not use air tools or damage to
holes in roof sliding panel housing (502C22) may occur.
Install all retaining screws.
